Elderly, age 60–64 and disability fares are the “$2 Scheme” fares: $2 up to a $10 adult fare, 20% of the adult fare above that (since 3 April 2026); the Lo Wu and Lok Ma Chau border crossings are excluded. Single tickets have no student, 60–64 or disability fare.

East Rail Line First Class fare

Tap your Octopus or contactless bank card on a First Class Processor on the platform or by the compartment door before you board; without a valid First Class ticket the surcharge is HK$1,000.
